When the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) wanted to strengthen gas safety provision, we brought our expert people, digital services and technology capabilities to the fore.

From our committed team of gas safety inspectors, to experienced customer service agents and the latest technology, we’re supporting the highest levels of public safety.

We’ve been managing the HSE’s Gas Safe Register since 2009, operating the official UK list of gas businesses and qualified gas engineers who are registered to work safely and legally on boilers, cookers, fires and all other gas appliances.

We’re responsible for checking the competence of engineers through our team of highly-trained gas safety inspectors, promoting awareness of gas safety and the register across the UK, Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey.

We also introduced the latest technology to enable citizens and gas engineers to easily and securely stream live video footage directly from their smartphones into our contact centre and technical helpline, which we man and operate daily.
