Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster
Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver “better trained sailors to the front line faster”.
Your role will be to provide routine administrative support in support of delivering an outstanding education and training experience to learners for external clients.
Job Description
What you’ll be doing:
Creation and production of the Long-Term Plan for all courses
Creation and scheduling of course templates
Updating of course templates as a result of change administered through the various contracted change mechanisms and attend various key stakeholder meetings.
Maintain resource hierarchy availability
Create and build automated course timetables
Book travel & accommodation for overseas students
Work collaboratively and engage with other training support departments and Training Groups
What we’re looking for:
Essential Skills/Experience
Previous administration/coordination experience
Proficient using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (maintaining existing spreadsheets)
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Team player with initiative
Confident
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Any experience of using TAFMIS would be desirable
Previous planning/scheduling experience, would be an advantage
