Capita preferred bidder for npower customer service

Capita plc has been selected as preferred bidder to enter into a partnership with RWE npower plc, trading as npower, to provide both front office customer management and back office services.

Final negotiations are now taking place, with the contract expected to be worth approximately £120m over 7 years and is scheduled to commence on 1 February 2014.

Capita will take responsibility for part of npower’s customer service operation and deliver a business transformation programme that will enhance customer service for npower’s domestic business.
