Capita Insurance Distribution today announces the appointment of new business development director, Rachel Mulheron. Rachel will be responsible for developing the affinity arm of the business, providing an increasingly structured approach to the business’ development.

Rachel, who worked as UK business development director at Blue Insurances Limited before taking up this post, will work closely with both the sales and marketing teams to penetrate existing markets and source new business leads.

Rachel Mulheron said: “I’m excited to be presented with this opportunity and I look forward to getting started on strategic planning and project development for 2010.  Even though we are still operating in an unstable economic climate, by further aligning all the activities within the business I believe some challenges will become opportunities.”
