Capita Recruitment Vetting Services is introducing an online Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checking system. E-bulk is a web based CRB disclosure management system, developed by Capita in conjunction with CRB that enables applicant’s data to be captured, processed, checked and countersigned.

The CRB provided an electronic interface for the submission of application and retrieval of disclosure responses for Registered Bodies.

Andrew Yarwood, marketing manager for Capita Recruitment Vetting Service commented on the new system: “The new E-bulk system promises to be faster, easier, more efficient, and with no data errors. This is due to the fact that there is no need for postal costs and a reduced administrative cost; it’s also more secure with all application records being held in one place. For employers and employees alike the new CRB check online will mean a great deal less hassle.”

He added “From October this year all employees working or volunteering with vulnerable people or in a regulated position will need to be ISA registered and part of that process is gaining CRB disclosure. With this massive influx in CRB checks expected, this new streamlined approach will prove to be invaluable in speeding up the process of approval.”
