Carl Devlin has become the first appointment to Capita Symonds’ new Programme Delivery team.
Carl, who joins the company from Laing O’Rourke where he was Director of Work Winning, will be Director of Programme Management within the new team which aims to contribute 40% to Capita Symonds’ bottom line by 2013.
The announcement is the first in a series of major appointments which will be made by Capita Symonds over the coming months.

Carl’s appointment, and that of the wider Programme Delivery team, will support our burgeoning programme workload while also bolstering our approach to the biggest opportunities in UK Government and overseas.”

Carl has over 18 years experience in leading and delivering the design and construction of large complex projects in the civil and railway infrastructure environments as well as buildings and facilities environments. The majority of his experience is in the London area on significant major transport infrastructure programmes such as Heathrow Terminal 5, the Channel Tunnel Rail Link and the Stratford City Development. He was also Project Director for Laing O’Rourke’s bid to become Crossrail’s Programme Delivery Partner.
