Thornside, the pet insurance division of Capita Insurance Distribution, today announced it has been appointed by Aviva to provide and administer its new pet insurance product for the next three years.
Wayne Ewing, marketing and product manager at Aviva commented: “We have been working closely with Thornside to refine our pet insurance offering and are very pleased to be launching a competitive product to rival some of the biggest players in the market. Thornside have brought with them vast amounts of experience and expertise and their support and product knowledge will help us provide cover options which will suit our customers’ needs.”
From November 5, the policy will offer three different levels of cover: Gold, Silver and Platinum. This will provide the option for pet owners to choose the level of cover that is right for them via www.aviva.co.uk
