We are the market leader in services to central government, which accounts for some 12% of our business. The Transformational Government agenda presents further opportunities for growth.
Local government remains our largest single market, accounting for a fifth of our business. We are the established leader in this sector, with over 20 years' experience.
Our breadth of expertise, from national strategy to ground-level work in schools, has made us No. 1 in education services - which accounts for 13% of our business.
Services to the life and pensions industry account for 11% of our business. This is likely to increase, as we are the major player in a market growing at some 14% a year.
Outsourcing is proving to be a key to competitiveness in this market. We are the leading provider of services to the sector, which accounts for 10% of our business.
At 4% of total turnover, financial services is a relatively small part of our business at present. But this is a growth sector in which we offer a uniquely broad range of services.
We rank No. 1 in services to the transport sector, which accounts for 6% of our business. Covering a wide range of transport consultancy and management services, we have particular strength in integrated transport solutions.
Outsourcing and public-private partnerships are seen as key to the development of the NHS, and this market is forecast to grow at over 31% annually over the next few years.
