Capita is included in the FTSE4Good index for socially responsible investment. We choose to participate in this index because its criteria more appropriately reflect the impacts and risks of a service business.
London Benchmarking Group
Capita is a member of the London Benchmarking Group (LBG), a group of over 100 companies working together to improve the measurement and management of community involvement.
Great Places to Work survey
We engage with the Great Places to Work programme annually. By surveying our staff independently this allows us to identify challenges and solutions to create a supportive work environment encouraging a motivated and loyal workforce.

Capita’s call centre in Darwen won an award for Diversity, Recruitment and Retention at the North West Contact Centre Project Awards for their commitment to the introduction of diversity-oriented initiatives.
Business in the Community
One of our employees won ‘Volunteer of the Year award’ at the Business in the Community (BITC)’s Yorkshire and Humber Regional Awards for Excellence this year. The award recognises those who are strongly committed to putting something back through their company’s volunteering schemes.
