Capita manages corporate responsibility from both the bottom up and top down, with Group Board members being responsible for each of our impact areas.

This year we made 'Managing our supply chain responsibly' one of our five key priorities.We recognise this as a growing area of importance for our business and clients. Capita view supplier diversity not as an obligation but as an opportunity that makes sound business sense.

Our structure of independent business units and large contract operations allows Capita’s businesses to be highly autonomous. Whilst recognising that there are advantages to allowing businesses independence in how they operate, monitoring performance across the Group is challenging. However we are continuously working towards improved measurement of CSR-related KPI’s and consistency of data collection processes.
