Through long term customer relationships we aim to increase efficiency, quality and accessibility. To make that happen, we work with 6,300 suppliers across our UK and overseas locations, from small local businesses to large corporates. We think it’s important to work with responsible suppliers, and to build mutually beneficial relationships with them. They assist in maintaining service standards and reducing costs in our contracts and our own internal operations.
You don't get better by resting on your laurels
We constantly measure and seek external recognition of our service quality. Numerous industry awards reflect our focus on delivering excellent service to and for our clients. But we are not complacent. We keep a constant eye on how we’re doing by:
- Monitoring our service levels – we write key performance indicators into major contracts and regularly review progress with customers
- Regularly seeking feedback: we continuously review the way we’re delivering a service, to find ways of doing it even better
