Capita employee John Foster from Lower Darwen was awarded Customer Service Representative of the Year at the coveted CCA (Customer Contact Association) Awards 2006.
John, who works as a Customer Service Advisor for Capita’s TV Licensing contract in Darwen, beat off competition from five other nominees. The award recognises exceptionally high standards of customer service and was presented during a ceremony at The Royal Museum in Edinburgh.
John commented: "This was an unexpected surprise for me. I was awarded Representative of the Year at the TV Licensing call centre in Darwen earlier this year and was flattered to be recommended for the CCA Awards as a result. However, I never dreamt I would get this far!"
Judy Smyth, Director of CCA Global Standard, said: "John Foster displayed a huge commitment to the customer by demonstrating excellent customer service and I believe he influenced other members of his team in a very positive way."
