The theme of this year’s event was Mission Impossible, and many of the games and activities were based around the world of the secret agent. There was code breaking and problem solving, as well as a chance to pit your wits against the Bond-esque house casino. On top of these mental challenges teams were required to kayak across a treacherous lake, test their marksmanship skills at the shooting range, brave a hair raising ride in a land rover, and generally charge back and forth across the Kelmarsh grounds attempting to solve the elusive ‘Mission Impossible’.
Rachel Gascoigne, Corporate Account Manager, from Macmillan said "Everyone at Macmillan wants to thank and congratulate those Capita employees who took part in this years Capita Challenge and trust that they really enjoyed the day. £67,000 is a fantastic sum of money to have raised. This provides a great start to the target of £1million that the 2 year partnership aims to raise and will help us provide medical, practical, emotional and financial support not only to people affected by cancer, but also their families, carers and communities."
Everyone had a great day and the event was a huge success, generating over £67,000 for our charity partners Macmillan Cancer Support and in the process becoming our most successful fundraiser ever.
