Delivering award winning service and IT innovation for The Children’s Mutual

Capita assumed responsibility for setting up a new joint service infrastructure, providing end-to-end administration services to support the new Child Trust Fund accounts. The product provided by The Children’s Mutual, together with the administration and IT expertise provided by Capita, combine to ensure a unique end-to-end service.

The service was fully transferred from Tunbridge Wells to Capita’s Barnwood site within 12 months of contract start. This involved end-to-end business transformation and service provision to support a portfolio of 500,000 existing insurance plans. The broad scope of activities taken on by Capita as part of the contract included customer service, IT, finance, HR, actuarial and compliance. In addition Capita supported the launch of the Government’s Child Trust Fund initiative by developing a completely new policy administration system within 10 months.
