Investing in our communities

Our business places us at the heart of the communities in which we operate.

We aim to make a positive impact through the services we provide and through investing in the communities where we operate so that we can maximise the benefits and understand and manage any negative impacts of our business operations.

As a responsible business we are committed to supporting our local communities. In 2009 our employees supported over 300 community initiatives through our ‘Capita Commit’ programmes which include our community investment programme and our charity work.

We meet with representatives from our local communities to ensure we make a positive impact that benefits local people. We also collaborate with other local businesses and sit on regional Business in the Community (BITC) boards.
